Heating System Upgrade

Started in November 2006
Completed January 2007
Project Type: Industrial
Owner: Confidential Manufacturing Client
Location: Everett, WA
Contract Amount: $1 Million
Designer: Owner's Engineering Department

Due to deteriorating mechanical fittings in the heating system piping at an Everett assembly building, General Construction was given the task of refitting all the mechanical joints with new welded fittings. In order to complete this project within the small window of time available, the majority of the work was done over the 2006-2007 Holiday shutdown. We started work the night of December 25th and had our crew of 100 pipe fitters and welders working 12-hour shifts around-the-clock. The system was up and running January 5th.
