This project required demolition of the existing Pier G float system, which consisted of 550 ft of main walk and thirty, finger piers, each 60 ft long. New construction included installation of 600 ft of 8 ft wide main walk, sixty-four 60 ft berths, a new 60 ft aluminum gangway, and cart storage area. Piledriving consisted of driving forty-four, 16 in. diameter, pipe piles. New electrical and mechanical service was also provided.
