Terminal 30 Upgrade, Port of Seattle

Project started October 2007 - Projected completion date June 2009
The 43-acre Terminal 30 Upgrade project includes relocation of the Cruise Ship operation, and returning the terminal to its original function as a container terminal.

Electric Boat Graving Docks 1 & 2

Project started in September, 2006 - Project completion expected in April 2008
This project consisted of long term repair of Graving Docks #1 & 2, in which building reinforced and thru-tied concrete walls on the basin and docks occurred.

Shearwater Remediation Project

Project started in March, 2001 - Project completed in September, 2001
General Construction removed a thin layer of contaminated material from a very constricted site under extremely tight environmental controls and replacing it with an engineered cap.

Kingston Outfall

Project started in June, 2004 - Project completed in October 2007
This project required the installation of one mile of 18 in. steel outfall pipe adjacent to the ferry landing in Kingston, WA.

Bangor Fox Island Lab Relocation

Project started in June 2007 - Project completed in January 2008
This project included the construction of a concrete trestle supported by twenty steel piles.

Midway Sewer District Submarine Outfall

Project started in June 2007 - Project completed in January 2008
This project included the installation of 2,100 ft of 48 in. steel outfall pipe to the diffuser section which runs to a depth of -170 MMLW.

Yaquina North Jetty Rock Removal

Project started in July, 1999 - Project completed in September, 1999
General Construction rebuilt the Yaquina North Jetty in Oregon.

Terminal 3 & 4, Port of Tacoma

Project started in January, 2005 - Project completed in March, 2006
This project included the construction of a 250 lin ft concrete wharf at the Port of Tacoma.

Marine Docking Facility, U.S. Gypsum

Project started in January, 2000 - Project completed in July, 2000
Along the Columbia River in Oregon, General Construction built a concrete wharf and concrete approach trestle.

Norfolk Sediment Remediation

Project started in January, 1999 - Project completed in April, 1999
This project was part of the Elliot Bay/Duwamish dredging and restoration.

Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal

Project started in 2005 - Project completed in 2006
General Construction demolished the existing ferry terminal slip and constructed new slip.

Todd Shipyard Sediment Remediation Project

Project started in 2004 - Project completed in 2005
General Construction dredged 203,000 cu yd of contaminated sediment that was then trans-loaded into railcars for upland disposal.

Bangor Building 7111 Addition & Service Pier Upgrade

Project started in 2004 - Project completed in 2005
General Construction was responsible for upgrading existing service pier and facility to accommodate a new submarine homeport.

Lake Youngs Intake

Project started in 2002 - Project completed in 2003
This intake pier, for an active drinking water reservoir, required 500-tons of fabricated steel, piles and four piers supporting a pump platform.

Pierce County Terminal Expansion

Project started in 2002 - Project completed in 2003
This project consisted of dredging and habitat construction at the Pierce County Slip 5 Terminal in Tacoma, WA.

Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal Dolphin Replacement Phase II

Project started in 2001 - Project completed in 2002
General Construction replaced of Bainbridge Island ferry terminal dolphins.

Kingston Ferry Terminal Phase II Dolphin Replacements

Project started in 2001 - Project completed in 2002
General Construction replaced the dolphins at Kingston ferry terminal.

Anacortes Ferry Terminal Slip 2 Refurbishment, Slips 1 & 2 Dolphins

Project started in 2001 - Project completed in 2002
Refurbishment of Anacortes ferry terminal slips.

Keyport Pier Replacement

Project started in 2000 - Project completed in 2002
This design build project consists of a modern pier and new floating structures to accommodate research vessels at the Keyport Undersea Warfare Research Station.

Navigation and Sediment Dredging, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard

Project started in 2000 - Project completed in 2001
This project was a large scale environmental dredging at Bremerton's Naval Shipyard in Washington.

Pier D Replacement

Project started in 2000 - Project completed in 2003
This design build project consisting of building a 1350 x 150 carrier berthing pier at the Naval Station in Bremerton.

Terminal 55/56, Port of Oakland

Project started in 1999 - Project completed in 2001
This project included the demolishing of existing concrete piers, hydraulic dredging and construction of a new wharf.

Neah Bay Pier Coast Guard Pier

Project started in 1999 - Project completed in 2000
This project required the demolition of an existing 650 ft timber pier and construction of a new concrete pier and concrete mooring floats.

Chevron Long Wharf Causeway/Trestle Seismic Upgrade

Project started in 1998 - Project completed in 2000
This project included seismically strengthening the 3,800 ft, two lane concrete causeway as well as replacing a timber pipe trestle that paralleled the existing concrete causeway with a new steel trestle.

Shilshole Marina

Project started in 1996 - Project completed in 1998
At Shilshole Marina, General Construction demolished an old pier and construction a new 600 lin ft pier.

Lopez Island Ferry Terminal

Project started August 2006 - Completed December 2007
This project provided for the preservation of the Lopez Ferry Terminal in San Juan County, Washington.

Terminal 91 Berth M Reconstruction, Port of Seattle

Project began October 2007 - Expected completion date is May 2008
This project includes the demolition of the old timber apron and supporting piles and construction of a new dock supported with concrete and sheet piles.

Terminal 115, Port of Seattle

Project began October 2006 - Project completed April 2008
General Construction reconstructed and upgraded one of the largest break bulk barge facility in the Western Hemisphere.

Port of Anchorage Maintenance Dredging

 - Project completed in November, 2002
General Construction did massive maintenance dredging at the Port of Anchorage in Alaska.
